Strength & Power Lifting 2 (16 years and over): Take it to the next level! This five-week program is for participants who have either taken the first course, or who have a background in power or Olympic Lifting. The main focus will be introducing cleans, clean-and-jerk, snatch, Romanian dead lifts, and front squats. Option to drop-in (includes facility admission):  M$10  NM $20

Yoga Workshop: The Joy of Backward Bending (16 years and over): Backward bending is a joy, but many do not see it that way. Expansion of the spine creates freedom in the chest and can alter mood. However, fear keeps us from experiencing the positive aspects of backward bending. Join Rachel for an informative 15-30 minute lecture on the anatomy of backward bends, followed by a 75-90 minute active/restorative expansion-focused class. No yoga experience required.

Stroller Fit (6 wks + with parent or caregiver): Meet some new moms, enjoy the fresh air, and get fit! Our Stroller Fitness class is an outdoor fitness program held at local parks and pathways for mothers with young infants and toddlers. It is a full-body workout focusing on hips, thighs, butt, upper body, cardio, and core. Each class starts with a warm-up and stretch. Back-up for bad weather is the gym or track.

Girls in Sport (10+ years): Learn great skills or develop what you already know in this variety class of sports for girls. Discover a new sport you haven’t tried and play the games you love. Learn about fitness, our bodies, and a healthy you!

Girls' Hockey Camp (8-10 years and 11-12 year): This intensive half day camp will work on all aspects of the game and work on refining individual skills. Two one-hour on ice sessions per day will work on their basic skills, techniques and fundamentals of the game —proper skating techniques, puck control, passing, shooting and team play. The 45 minute dryland session will be with a certified personal trainer who will work on athletic development pertaining to the game of hockey. No member discount.

We also are offering some new themed-camps this summer....

2, 4, 6, 8, PLAY! (3-4 years, 4-6 years and 5-6 years): Physical Literacy And You...PLAY! Give your child the opportunity to do what they do the best...PLAY. In this camp your child will be hopping with energy as our leaders take them on an exploration of new games and activities. This camp swims 2x/week.

Animaniacs (3-4 years and 5-6 years): Don’t miss out on this fun camp! Children will spend the week exploring animals from all over the world including our pets at home. We’ll learn through stories, games, crafts, and a special day camp visitor. Camp swims 2x/week.

Look Mom! (3-4 years): Look what I can do! Your preschooler will love the creating and crafting in this camp. They will explore their creativity and learn how to have fun with their imagination. This camp does not swim.

Petal Bugs (4-6 years): We’ll get out our green thumbs out and start Trico’s community garden. This camp will include planting, learning about soil, sun, seeds, and bugs through stories, games, and crafts. Each child will bring home their very own flower to grow at home. This camp swims 2x/week.

??? Camp (6-8 years and 10-12 years): For 1 week only...Surprises all week long! This camp will show it’s true colours on Monday with a week of excitement, creativity, and action packed fun. Campers will be so involved they’ll be sure to come home wiped out! Swimming included.

On Your Mark, Get Set, Go! (9-12 years): On your mark to make this the best summer. Get set to play lots of games from back in the day and today. Get crafty, sporty, playful. This camp swims every day and includes a fieldtrip.

Ready or Not...Here We Come! (6-8 years): Bring back Play! This camp offers all day active fun full of games and activities. We are bringing some old games and making them new. This camp swims every day and includes a fieldtrip.
