At Trico Centre you can purchase a facility membership, drop in for a swim, skate or fitness workout, register in one of our many programs for all ages from toddlers to seniors, or rent our facility as an individual, school, corporate or community group.

Location

Conveniently located across from Southcentre Mall and with direct bus access and walking access from the Anderson LRT station, our facility is not only accessible, but easy to get to and easy to find.  Our location map can be found at the bottom of the home page.

Trico Centre Features

• a huge Fitness Centre with three-lane running track and state-of-the-art equipment. Special Features: welcoming for people of all fitness levels, bright, sunny natural lighting; no lineups.
• three fitness studios including two "regular" studios (hosting group fitness and SPIN classes) and a Mind Body studio. These studios feature over 60 Drop-In Adult Fitness classes every week which are FREE for members
• Aquatics Centre with hot tub, steam room, wavepool. Features: beach-front entry and warm water - great for young children.
• two NHL-sized arenas where you can take part in Adult Shinny Hockey, Leisure Skating, and Learn to Skate for all ages.
• a gymnasium - the site of registered classes and Drop-In Gym
• on-site Kids Korner Childcare with up to two-hour stay while you work out
• meeting rooms (available for rent)
• food service (provided by Jugo Juice)

Our Story

Since 1983, Trico Centre for Family Wellness has been the recreational hub for South Calgary, offering  a wide variety of recreational facilities, programs and services for approximately 20% of our city's South Calgary population.

Guest Services

If you are new to our centre, answers to your questions and access to our facility begins at GUEST SERVICES.  Guest Services is located down the ramp as you enter the front door of the facility. Guest Services is your first stop if you want to:

• access our facility for admissions, memberships, rentals or program use
• ask a question about Trico Centre memberships, admissions, programs, or services
• purchase a membership
• purchase an admission including All-Inclusive Day admission, Leisure Skate, Shinny Hockey, Swim Specials or drop in to our fitness centre
• pay for childcare

Accessibility

In 2004 and 2009, Trico Centre underwent two significant facility renovations, vastly improving our facility and services.  You will find our facility easy to access, with ample parking and one of the most accessible facilities within Calgary.  When you walk into our front doors, the wheelchair accessible ramps make it easy for everyone to navigate - from young families with strollers, to hockey parents and kids lugging their hockey bags, to seniors and wheelchair customers.  So good in fact, that Trico Centre won the City of Calgary Accessibility Award in 2010.

Environmental Leader

Trico Centre has been recognized for its sustainable practices and is a 2010 LEED NC Candidate for the construction and completion of the Southcentre Arena.
